Linn Energy is an independent oil and gas company focused on the development and acquisition of long-lived properties in the United States. Our core areas include Appalachian Basin, the Los Angeles Basin of California, Mid-Continent, which includes the Sooner Trend of north central Oklahoma, Texas Panhandle. We have completed 17 acquisitions of oil and gas properties and related gathering and pipeline assets for an aggregate purchase price of approximately $1.1 billion.

Quest Resource Corporation, the largest producer of natural gas in the Cherokee Basin, controls more than 500,000 net acres in the Cherokee Basin in southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma. Quest estimates the Cherokee Basin has the potential to hold more than 1.2 trillion cubic feet of natural gas resource under Quest’s existing and targeted acreage.  Quest operates more than 1,900 wells producing more than 70 MMcf gross per day. The company’s average working interest is 99%. As of July 1, 2007 Quest reported total proved reserves of 205 Bcf, with a three year average F&D cost of $1.42 per Mcf.  All of the company’s natural gas is connected into Quest Midstream's 1,800+ -mile gathering and transportation pipeline system.

ConocoPhillips is the third-largest integrated energy company in the United States. The company is the fifth-largest refiner and the sixth-largest reserves holder of nongovernment-controlled companies. Newfield Exploration Company is an independent crude oil and natural gas exploration and production company headquartered in Houston, Texas. Bronco Drilling Company, headquartered in Oklahoma City, provides contract land drilling services to oil and natural gas exploration and production companies. We currently own a fleet of 65 land drilling rigs, of which 54 are marketed and 11 are held in inventory. We also own a fleet of 43 workover rigs, of which 30 are marketed, 11 are in the process of being refurbished and two are held in inventory. Twenty-seven of our 43 workover rigs are less than two years old. We also currently own a fleet of 69 trucks used to transport our rigs.  We operate our drilling rigs and workover rigs in Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, North Dakota, Kansas and Colorado and New Mexico.  A majority of the wells we have drilled have been in search of natural gas reserves, which is often found in deep and complex geologic formations that generally require higher horsepower, premium rigs and experienced crews to reach targeted depths. Our current fleet of 65 rigs includes 38 rigs ranging from 950 to 2,500 horsepower.
